Best and Fairest - Joshua Daicos.

What a magnificent season he had.  Josh has always been a ball magnet and a gun goal kicker (who will ever forget the goal against the wind in the prelim final) but this year he introduced the awesome tackle, followed by the second third and fourth effort into his repertoire. Congratulations Josh on an awesome 2009.

Runner-Up Best and Fairest - Riley Verbi.

How do I review my own son? All I can say is I couldn’t be more proud of his efforts throughout the year. I am constantly amazed by his determination and skill. Congratulations to the “Verbinator” on another wonderful season.

3rd Best and Fairest - Nik Fotinatos.

Brave every week, dependable every week, saves the day every week and can kick the cover off a football. That pretty much sums up Niks year. Nik thrived on the pressure and made a habit of taking a specky mark and racing off at the speed of light. Outstanding season Nik well done.

Most Improved - Connor Mulvey.

Connor arrived very quietly, and spent a bit of time on the bench early in the year, but his efforts on the track soon began to result in great form on match day and quickly became one of the first selected in the team. His kicking was a bit erratic early but lots of practice resulted in him discovering late in the year that he can unleash a super boot when needed and seemed to improve every week. Congratulations Connor on a fantastic season well done.

Coaches Award - Seamus Troy.

This young fellow is the easiest guy to coach. We simply “unleash him on the opposition” he is a leader on and off field and was truly an inspiration to all of his teammates throughout the year. His form, particularly early, in the year was outstanding earning him selection in the Interleague side. Congratulations Seamo on an outstanding year well done.
