Best & Fairest – James Brislin

James was a truly deserving winner of this award, his commitment and ability to run and run in games was a credit to his work ethic and fitness. He was clearly our best running player over 4 quarters and this was reflected with his award. He had an exceptional year and was often the 5 % edge we held in the close games. His game against Canterbury B was outstanding and he was a match winner. He is a delight to coach and does everything asked of him. His work in the ruck and across Half Back gave us consistent drive and his leadership in the tough contested games was a highlight of the year. A truly deserving winner of this award.

Runner Up Best and Fairest. Angus Jones

The best and fairest winner from last year had another fantastic season and was again a driving force behind the success of the team. His team focus and ability to bring other players into the game through his play was a highlight of the year. He Kicked 22 goals for the year and led the goal kickers. He kicked 5 Goals against Doncaster in the first half in one of the best performances of the past 2 years. He was a great leader again and also further developed his team play and his team orientated focus.  He should be proud of his achievements through the year and thoroughly deserves this award.

3rd Best and Fairest. Nick Daicos

This year was a break out year for Nick. He was consistently in the best players and was outstanding whether he was on the ball, back or forward. His role of Half back when asked was a highlight as his coach in the way he responded to the challenge and excelled. He consistently brought other players into the game and his sense of team play was a credit to his maturity from last year. He has a natural goal sense and his 5 goal haul was one of the season highlights. He is a delight to coach and never once did he not thank me after a game.
A truly delightful contributor over the year and deserving of this award.

Most Improved. Tom Silvagni

The second season of football was a breakout year for Tom also. His development this year was remarkable and he played some outstanding football. His overhead marking, kicking and general game sense has improved markedly since last year. His ability to influence games and change game patterns through his efforts was outstanding. He was 4th in the B & F after being outside the top 10 last year. He is another boy who makes coaching so rewarding and I would like to thank him for his enthusiasm and passion both at training and match day. An outstanding team member and a deserving recipient of this award.

Coaches Award. Luke Kelvie

Luke is the player every coach wishes for in their team. Selfless, tough, consistent, follows instructions and always follows team rules. Plays any role asked, never questions why he has been assigned a role or a task but gets on and does an outstanding job game after game. 5TH in the B&F this year, he has had another fantastic year and was a clear choice for this award. He will form a key part of this team in years to come; his work ethic and courage are highlights of his game. Well Done Luke on an outstanding year.
