Runner – Up Best & Fairest - Tom Johnston.
Our runner up best and fairest went to another of our more experienced players and what you would call a genuine footballer. Tommy Johnston was in everything from the first bounce of the first game to the last passage of play in our last game. Tom is a beautiful, typically balanced left foot kick and along with Matt was a player who stood out above the rest. He played in the ruck, up forward, down back, it really didn’t matter where he played, he always found the ball with ease. He kicked some great goals during the year. |

3rd Best & Fairest and Most Improved – Nikolas Perduv.
Our 3rd best and fairest player and most improved player went to one of the quieter boys in the team, Nikolas Perduv. Nikolas was extremely courageous in marking contests even though he was one of our smaller boys and by the end of the year ended up being one of our key marking targets up forward. He has plenty of natural footy ability that slowly became more evident as the year went on.

Coach’s Award – Darcy Feutrill.
Probably the hardest award to give due to so many boys being deserving of it was the Coaches Award. This award was won by Darcy Feutrill. Darcy played in a range of positions throughout the year and did so with ease. He was also one of our better tacklers who was always able to get his man. He kicks the ball well and showed that if you go after the ball with your eyes firmly on it, then size really doesn’t matter on the football ground. |
